Yes!. East Bay: Try Golden Lotus in downtown Oakland (try the Tamarind "beef"). Also, New World Vegetarian Cuisine is fabulous (don't miss their surprisingly creamy vegan cakes!). Cafe Gratitude in both SF and Berkeley is quite an experience. I also recommend Golden Era in SF. Oh, and Cha Ya in Berkeley. There is also a place called Ananda Fuara in SF which I have not been to, but is supposed to be good. And Neecha Thai, while not totally vegetarian, has a vegetarian menu which is extensive, and I have yet to try anything there that wasn't fantastic; they have both SF and Oakland locations.
