It does not matter what I eat or don’t eat. Okay, my diet remains imperfect but this is just too ridiculous. I haven’t seen a number under 200 in weeks. I even tried strips from another bottle and used the test juice to see if the meter was off. Nope.
Okay, reviewing my numbers I see a couple 199 and 176. No, that doesn’t really reassure me. I really am trying and, at the very least, my daytime sugars should be okay but they aren’t. 240 before dinner. 287 after dinner. It’s crazy, it’s really crazy.
And, honestly, it doesn’t exactly motivate me. How do you handle it when your numbers are just up and up and nothing you do seems to help? I could try starving and see if that worked. But I really need a little bit of reinforcement somewhere. How do you motivate yourself to keep trying?
